ICHP

 

The I.C.H.P. is the Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. It was established in 1990 by Dr. Joseph Keaney, Ph.D.,D.Psych., Dip.C.Hyp., D.C.H., B.A., It was founded to establish a National Membership organisation for independent Hypnotherapy/Psychotherapy Practitioners utilising Hypno-analytical procedures. It has steadily worked over the years to raise the standard of Hypnotherapy/Psychotherapy in Ireland in every possible way.

 

The training programmes of the ICHP cover two aspects of hypnotherapy, namely Suggestion Therapy and Analytical Therapy. Although the foundation of the training is in Hypno/Psychotherapy, Analysis and Hypnotherapy which enables them to specialise in Hypnoanalytical Psychotherapy, the course encapsulates a myriad of therapeutic and psychotherapeutic modalities including:

             NLP

             Parts Therapy,

             EFT

             Past Life Regression

             Visualisations

             Transpersonal work

             Gestalt

             Ericksonian etc.

 

The I.C.H.P. is dedicated to the professional and ethical use of Hypnosis allied to the practice of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Hypno-psychotherapy. The institute is a non-profit making organisation.

 

Members of the Institute are bound by a code of Practice and Ethics of the highest order, they have satisfied an Examination Board of their knowledge and level of competence and have undertaken to abide by the rules of the institute.

 

Members are covered by professional indemnity insurance and partake in ongoing master classes to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements  in the field of hypnotherapy.
